Effortless access management with a two step solution

Enterprise access management is overwhelming due to the sheer number of requests and complex approval hierarchies. To mitigate this issue, Aubergine  developed a streamlined 2-step process for the IDHub platform.

The first step features powerful search and filter capabilities, enabling users to quickly and accurately find the specific items they need from an extensive catalog. The new interface helped save time and reduce the frustration associated with navigating large datasets. Once the desired items are selected, users can submit their access requests through a simplified interface.

The second step involves an intuitive approval workflow for managers, which highlights key information such as user details and access purposes, making the review process straightforward and efficient. The design minimizes delays by providing managers with all necessary information at a glance, thereby reducing the likelihood of errors and ensuring timely access approvals.

Reduced certificate creation time through dynamic automation

Certificate creation is often a time-consuming process, especially in enterprise-level systems where multiple fields and steps are involved. To streamline this workflow, we transformed the complex 10-step certificate creation workflow into a much more efficient process. By conducting thorough user research and analyzing the existing process, we identified key pain points and implemented targeted features that drastically improved speed and usability.

We introduced auto-suggestions to help users quickly select relevant options, reducing the need for manual entry. Query builders allowed for dynamic generation of fields based on user input, while dynamic dropdowns ensured that only relevant options were presented, further reducing complexity.

These enhancements combined to cut down the certificate creation time from a lengthy 5-10 minutes to under 1 minute. By simplifying the process and removing redundant steps, we empowered users to create certificates more efficiently, improving productivity and user satisfaction across the platform.

By providing a simple yet flexible configuration tool, we enabled organizations to create workflows that are both efficient and aligned with their operational goals.

At the same time, we ensured that the core design principles of the platform, such as clarity, ease of use, and consistency, remained intact. This balance of flexibility and usability empowered organizations to adapt the system to their changing needs while maintaining a seamless user experience across the platform.
